Leslye Villaseñor is a painter and visual artist based in San Diego. Her art practice delves into the essence of human consciousness, memory, perception, and the rawness of human emotion. She seeks to capture moments in time by using personal narratives, direct observation, and philosophical underpinnings. Each of her works, often haunting and melancholic, eventually serves as a collection of mementos that aim to create a connection with the audience allowing them to insert themselves in familiar yet surreal or dream-like scenarios.
