June Rubin Studio

JUNE RUBIN is local San Diego artist/educator with her art studio/gallery located in Liberty Station, NTC. Inspired by her international travels, she expresses the natural beauty of the world she sees using watercolor and collage. A graduate of Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA. Ms. Rubin has worked as an illustrator, art director, fine artist and art educator since the '80s. She has designed everything from gift wrap, tote bags, book covers to t-shirts. A sought-after children’s art teacher she has taught at the Children's Museum San Diego, San Diego Watercolor Society, and local recreation centers. She is a member of the San Diego Watercolor Society and is chair of the Art Center San Diego Alumni Association. Her work has been exhibited in juried shows at the San Diego Watercolor Society, Athenaeum Library, Sophie’s gallery, San Diego County Fair, ArtWalk NTC, and the Southwest Artists Association where she was included in the "Top 100" juried exhibition. Recently she was an artist in resident in Yosemite National park, teaching watercolors to all ages.
