Legacy Weekend

Liberty Station, the former Naval Training Center (NTC), has a rich history of service to the country and continues to serve the community as a successful adaptive reuse project. 2023 marks the 100-year anniversary of Liberty Station and we are celebrating with a Centennial Community Celebration on Sunday, October 29th.

As a finale to the year-long celebration, the businesses at Liberty Station invite the community to join us for a free, family-friendly Centennial Celebration from noon to 4 pm. The festivities include trick-or-treating throughout Ingram Plaza, live entertainment, a costume contest, fun prizes, crafts, inflatables, recognition of the oldest living NTC recruit, and the burial of a time capsule to be opened in 25 years. All ages are encouraged to come decked out in their most elaborate costumes including a military-themed contest for each age division as well.

The Centennial Community Celebration will take place on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 from noon to 4 pm in Ingram Plaza. Join us to celebrate the history of Liberty Station!
