Shock'N the Park
Culture Shock San Diego is proud to present Shock'N the Park! This FREE event is a day of Hip Hop and Choreography dance performances that aim to engage, educate, and inspire. Culture Shock will host a Showcase Dance Battle, and a variety of dance exhibitions by performers from San Diego to Tijuana. Our DJs, Emcees, and Breakers will have you feeling immersed in Hip Hop Culture. Join us as we celebrate an inclusive community and inspiring entertainment!
Shock N' the Park will include a special performance this year featuring ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station's Emerging Artist Micah Parra in a jazz funk trio, celebrating the empowerment of friendship, play, and feminine energy. Her 5-minute dance performance will be at 1pm during the choreography portion of the showcase after the festival's popular Dance Battle happening at 12.
