Between the Lines: Writing Dialogue

Strong dialogue accomplishes more than one thing, going beyond merely conveying information. Literary conversations serve several purposes – they can reveal characters, set the scene, advance the plot, create tension, establish mood, etc. In this two-hour workshop, we will use prompts that focus on writing realistic, convincing dialogue.
