Ana Saad - Emerging Artist in Residence

Based in San Diego, Ana Saad is a multimedia artist working primarily in ceramic and fiber, currently pursuing their Bachelor of Arts at San Diego State University. They create abstract forms that draw inspiration from nature, warping reality to reflect personal experience. In their work, they explore themes of identity and belonging, often as related to queer experiences. Through the sharp edges, bright colors, and monumental scale of their work, Ana invites viewers to experience otherness, and in turn, connection.
