This popular free arts event takes place on the First Friday of every month from 5-9 pm throughout the 28 acre campus. After 10 years, it has grown into San Diego’s biggest innovative arts event! Meet working artists, enjoy dance, theatre and music performances featuring community partners and discover intriguing public art installations. Wander and explore the galleries, museums, artist studios, distinctive shops and dining at historic Liberty Station.

Local Bazaar pop-up market hosts creative vendors and hand-made wares. 4:00 - 10:00 PM located on the North Promenade and by Bldg. 177.


Barracks 15/16 Plaza

Walk the Labyrinth is an interactive art installation designed to Illuminate the night at Liberty Station.  Projected walkable moving labyrinths become an interplay of ancient form and technology.  This project opens up the labyrinth as a form to refill with the art, stories, history and time that moves us all.  Stop by the courtyard between Barracks 15 & 16 to Walk the Labyrinth

San Diego Craft Collective invites guests to join their First Friday Holiday Market and Open House! 5:00 - 6:00 PM Free holiday craft event for children; 6:00 - 9:00 PM enjoy an Open House with turning lathe demonstrations. There will be raffle prizes plus the Holiday Market event kicks off with a boutique stocked full of unique, handmade gift items perfect for this holiday season.

New Americans Museum hosts “Portrait of People in Motion” a community-focused exhibition that honors migration stories of Americans, both new and long-established culminating in a new installation at New Americans Museum 5- 8 PM


Building 200

Mingei International Museum hosts the annual Shop Mingei Holiday Market. Raise a glass to craft and browse a beautiful selection of gifts. Featured Artists: Bang Jewelry, Cordial Organics, Jyumoku, Maru Lopez, Miki Iwasaki, and Nostrum artisan cocktail and soda shrubs. 5-8 PM

San Diego Watercolor Society hosts “Absence of Routine” Exhibition of paintings by members of the watercolor society on display during the month of December.

Anneville Jewelry Lab hosts a Merry Maker's Market! You'll find our village stalls both inside and out with piping hot cider, and a full complement of cheery makers proffering their sparkling silver, gold, brass and bejeweled wares. From 5-9 PM
