Watercolor on Textiles
Make a splash into the world of watercolor and textiles! Explore techniques using textile medium, gouache, and watercolor to create unique imagery painted on textiles.
In this two-hour long workshop, learners will begin three textile paintings that they can sew into future projects or just keep as is.
Students will work hands-on, using methods of painting on toned textiles and methods of using watercolor, white gouache, fabric medium, heat setting, and tracing paper with textile painting. Additionally, students will learn methods to increase the permanence of watercolor on textile mediums.
