VMOTA Bilingual Story Time
Join VMOTA's Bilingual Story Time as we weave tales of culture and creativity!
Every third Saturday from May to September, delve into the world of textile art stories and hands-on crafting activities. Stories will be read in both English and Spanish beginning at 10:15.
This celebration of cultural exchange, literacy, and artistic expression will be led by bilingual educator, Denaya Kelly.
May will introduce color exploration through the bilingual books "Caroline's Color Dreams: Los Sueños Coloridos De Carolina”, “My Colors, My World: Mis Colores, Mi Mundo”, and “Colores De Vida: Mexican Folk Art Colors.” To explore the ideas presented in these books, visitors will be invited to join a hands-on craft creating tissue paper folk art.
