Open LAB

Open LAB is a creative, communal space for dance artists to work on their craft...

• DANCE MAKERS – Use Open LAB to noodle around and flesh out choreographic ideas prior to rehearsals, allowing for more efficient use of precious rehearsal time and your dancers’ time.

• DANCE TEACHERS – Use Open LAB to plan class materials…no more kicking the coffee table in your living room trying to figure out that “across the floor” phrase.

• DANCE ARTISTS – Use Open LAB to work on your own practice - train, stretch, warmup and prep for rehearsal/performance, take time for self-care.

Open LAB is an open environment that allows for independent work, while also fostering collaboration, sharing, and inquiry. Open LAB encourages discussion and the exchange of ideas.

Open LAB sessions are 1.5-2 hours long. Attendees may come and go as they please throughout the session.

Open LAB sessions are free (by donation). However, please use the link to sign-up as space is limited. We'd hate to turn anyone away for lack of space!
