Fire Seasons happen in Southern California, but also within souls. Who doesn't have a time or wish for a time when passion, weather, and color collide? I began this series of oil paintings when the fires broke out in Los Angeles last year. The power and vibrancy of wild fires pushed me to describe visually what I imagined internally.
