MGB Open Studio

MGB Open Studio is your Wednesday morning creative reset. Every week, our Liberty Station studio opens its doors to artists of all ages and abilities for two hours of free-choice art making in a warm, welcoming space guided by the principles of art therapy.

Whether you are a toddler with a paintbrush, a parent who needs a creative outlet, or a teen who wants to make something with their hands, Open Studio is for you. No projects to finish, no skills required, no pressure to perform. Just you, quality art materials, and the freedom to explore.

Each session features:
Open access to MGB's full studio materials (paint, collage, clay, mixed media, and more)
Optional themed prompts on the table for those who want a starting point
A calm, supportive environment facilitated by MGB staff
Soft music and a welcoming atmosphere designed to help your nervous system settle
