Intro to Landscape Painting/ 4 Sessions Thursdays

This class is geared to tapping the creative side of Landscape Painting by blending both Contemporary and Traditional painting methods. In this fun and informative class, you will learn:

Color Mixing Methods, including how to create Color Strings

Different ways to mix luscious landscape greens.

Ways to create interesting compositions.

Brush techniques

Perspective basics

Edge Control and more!

Thursday nights: 6-8:30 PM/ Four 2.5 hr. Sessions.
April 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Leslie’s Teaching Creds: taught Painting: Oil, Acrylic, and Encaustic Classes at U.T. Austin, Contemporary Life Drawing and Painting, Dynamic Mixed Media, and Encaustic Art for The Austin Museum of Art’s Art School at Laguna Gloria, and founded and hosted Austin Full Monty Open Painting and Drawing Sessions for the Austin Visual Arts Association. Leslie holds a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and an A.A.S. in Video Game Art from A.C.C.
She serves as Co-Chair of Exhibitions on the Board of Directors of The San Diego Museum of Art Artists Guild.
