Family & Beginner Sewing 101 | Sewing Machine Basics
Select a date:
September 26, 1-3pm
In this first beginner sewing class students will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, sew a straight stitch and pivot a corner. We will construct a pillow case together. You will also learn some very basic info about fabrics. If time allows for each student you will also learn how to finish your raw edges of the fabric using a zigzag stitch. You will leave class with a finished pillowcase. All materials are included.
It’s best to learn on your own sewing machine, but you may also borrow one of ours.
