Dance Performance: Bringing Textile Art to Life

The Visions Museum of Textile Art and Pointeworks will present a unique collaboration celebrating the transformative power of textiles across artistic disciplines and culminate in a live dance performance by Pointeworks ballet dancers at 6:00 PM.

Alongside the Visions Museum of Textile Art's paint to fabric exhibition, Pointeworks will showcase the artistry behind ballet costume design, tracing the process from initial sketches on paper to fully realized garments, highlighting how textiles can become a medium for storytelling, expression, and imagination.

Both exhibits will be on display at the museum throughout the evening, culminating in a live performance by Pointeworks dancers at 6:00 PM. The performance offers audiences a rare opportunity to see textile art in motion, as costumes, movement, and visual storytelling converge in a living work of art.
