Clay Handbuilding Workshop: Ceramic Vessel or Planter

Explore Handbuilding with Clay!
Friday, June 26, 4:30-6:30pm

Ages 12+ welcome! Join us for a fun, hands-on introduction to handbuilding with clay! In this workshop, you’ll explore a hand-building technique called ‘pinching’ to create a small vessel or plant pot, perfectly-sized for succulents or herbs. This beginner-friendly project focuses on forming pots using just your hands—no tools or wheels needed! You’ll learn how to shape, smooth, and personalize your pot while enjoying a relaxed, creative time. And, when you’ve completed your project, each student will choose from a variety of glazes for the piece to finished in. It’s a great way to get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing while making something ready for use (after it’s been fired)!

Grab a friend, enjoy some clay therapy, and discover the joy of crafting with clay!

All materials are provided, and you’ll get to take home your handmade creations after they’re fired and ready for pick-up in 3-4 weeks.
