Basket Weaving | Round Basket with Rim
Learn Basketry Basics!
Saturday, May 3, 1-6pm
In this basket weaving workshop, students will learn to weave a traditional round basket while customizing it your way with different color, weave, and rim options. Weaving techniques taught in this class include: twining, over-under interrupted, 3-Rod wale, braided rim, or lashed on rim. The size of each finished basket will be approximately 8 inches at the base and 5 inches high.
Students: Please bring sturdy scissors & an old towel if you can!
No experience necessary. Ages 16+ welcome.
