3-Week Ceramic Handbuilding | Build Your own Sushi Set

Create your own unique Sushi Set!
Saturdays, September 13, 20, October 4, from 2-4pm.

Join in for a relaxing and creative clay session where you’ll make your very own ceramic sushi set from scratch! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn essential handbuilding techniques like slab construction and pinching to create a beautiful, functional trio:
● A slab-built sushi platter
● A matching chopstick rest
● A pinched dip bowl for soy sauce, pickles, or wasabi

You’ll shape, texture, and personalize your pieces during the initial two 2-hour classes. Your pieces will then be dried and bisque fired. You’ll then return two weeks later for a glazing session to add food-safe finishes and bring your work to life. Projects will be ready to pick up 3-4 weeks after the last class.

We recommend that each student bring an apron to wear and an older towel or a cloth rag.

All materials provided. Ages 18+ welcome!
