The Art of Persian Textile
The Art of Persian Textile, on the Occasion of Yalda: Join us as we celebrate the arrival of winter through art, culture, and community in partnership with Persian Place for a special Yalda (Winter Solstice) event on Saturday, December 14th, from 10 am to 2 pm at Visions Museum of Textile Art. This event honors both Persian and American winter traditions, creating a welcoming space to share meaningful moments, forge connections, and deepen our appreciation for diverse cultural expressions through the joy of creativity. Learn the Ghalamkari woodblock printing technique, participate in a collaborative quilt, and enjoy a contemporary Persian Dance performance! This event is free to the public, thanks to the generosity of ARTS District Liberty Station.
While on-site, visitors will have a chance to meet some of our retail store artists at hour Holiday Pop-Up to purchase gifts for the holidays!
