Intro to Journaling will get you into the habit of daily writing. Research shows that journaling has a myriad of benefits, including an increase in creativity, organization, achieving goals, as well as an improvement in mental health. Each day students will alternate from writing stream of consciousness to answering writing prompts. By the end of the program, students will be in the habit of journaling for ten minutes a day.
Along with daily journaling, weekly Zoom classes will take place where we check-in, meditate, and do journaling exercises. The class, as well as a private chat room, will provide community, inspiration, and accountability. Students will also have a private call with Emily at the beginning and end of the program to identify and review goals.
