By offering a safe space to delve into our collective untapped potential, we will explore multiple movement vocabularies, workshop creatively, and aspire toward honest and collaborative choreography.

From Ching Ching:
February 2nd feels like the true start of the new year, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than dancing together. This marks my first creation with TRBP and I’m excited to connect with San Diego’s dance community through this special workshop.

We’ll begin with a continuous, guided warm-up designed to awaken and connect the body. As I’m in the midst of creating new work with the company, we’ll move into investigating freshly developed phrase material and my current creative obsessions.

My class is shaped by an eclectic blend of influences—rooted in my career as a performer, creator, and teacher. Together, we’ll explore the full spectrum of physicality: moments that are beautiful, hideous, funny, and tender. I encourage dancers to truly see one another and look for the delights that emerge from oscillating between extremes of expression.
