Command Center Art Gallery - focus on L Bryson
With this exhibit Bryson presents work that straddles the line between representation and abstraction. Abstraction plays a vital role in portraying both the human form as well as the nondescript utilitarian chair - transcending mere representation; flesh and form are broken, disrupted by shifts in color and mark.
Bryson is a San Diego native. She holds a BFA in Painting, an MA in Art Education and an MFA in Painting. Her work has shown regionally, nationally and internationally. Bryson is a resident artist in the Arts District at Liberty Station (Barracks 19 Studio 207). The exhibit is open daily.
